Wait, I bet you would have loved it if it was entitled "Canadian Beauty"

No no, the whole movie sucked. Not the title.

And Kevin Spacey is ... uh ... he should belong in a mental institution. For American Beauty and for the Usual Suspects.

This topic has entirely way too many replies already. Anyways, my top 3 chicks of the night:

    1. Uma

    2. Reese

    3. Keira

Also... a D+ grade overall for Jon Stewart. Nice montage at the start with the previous hosts and cracks at Steve Martin's children. Aside from that, entirely too many Brokeback jokes and too many jokes about jews. Time to find someone else for next year. Over and out.

Jarhead looks extremely average. Everyone I know that saw it says the same thing "wtf was the point?" Then again, look at the lead actors. Jaime Foxx & Jake Gyllanhalleywhatever (get a new name). Neither one can act (other than one truly good performance by Foxx, he ****ing sucks)

BTW: I have yet to see any red carpet pix of Reese (or stage shots).

Jake Gyllenhaal's not bad. Donnie Darko was good. So was The Good Girl. Proof looks good, haven't seen it though. I buy him as a quality actor. But his sister, that's where I'd put the money. And other things.

I'd treat his sister like Helena Bonham Carter in Fight Club for about an hour and then I'd be done with her. She reminds me of a poorman's Kirsten Dunst. Don't think much of her acting either, but if she turns your doorknob, more power to ya.

As for Donnie Darko, I have to say that's one of the most overrated flicks I've ever seen. What a terribly STUPID flick. The only thing worth remembering was the child molester/kiddy porn peddling Swayze got his ass handed to him (deservedly so). Other than that.... blah. I kept watching HOPING that something would get better and it never did. When it was over, I sat there for about 5 minutes thinking ... why didn't I just mow the lawn like I was going to?! Then I got pissed. Anyway, that movie is a complete topic unto itself that should be opened in the movies/tv forum.

Uh... if you're comparing her acting to Kirsten Dunst, you obviously have never seen her films.

    No, I'm talking about looks.

In the acting roles I've seen from either, neither one could act their way out of a wet paper bag.

I take back that comment about the looks. After seeing Maggie's red carpet shots, she's a shell of what she used to be (and I didn't hold her in that high of regard before). She's definitely an ackward looking chick.
