My theory as to why I buy what I buy at Walmart

Maybe it's just me, but does anyone else feel dirty when you go to Walmart? I think that's why I only by things there that are used for cleaning such as the soap and face wash that the supermarket doesn't carry, washer fluid and other cleaning stuffs for the car, and sometimes Drano to unclog those tough clogs...

I just feel like I need to take a shower after I leave Walmart...

I actually applied there online a couple of months ago.

Funny story...I was answering these survey questions about different scenarios that could happen and a mother had to use a pay phone and she let her son wander around where I was trying to concentrate and this kid said to me "What are you doing?" and I told him "I'm applying for a job". He thought I was playing a game.

Is it true that most West Virginians like to go hang out at Wal-Mart at 2-3 AM in the morning?

Sometimes I have to go there... it's also just minutes away from me. Fortunately, it's not one of those super wal marts that's near my parents and has limited activity. Mostly old folks.

That's the best time to go to the super wally world. There's no one there at those times.

Here in Lincoln, there's a debate whether to add a smaller Wal-Mart about a few miles from the interstate.

That would make 3 Wal-Marts in a city that's growing everyday. Do we need one? Yeah, I guess. Do we need three? Hell no.

Sounds like you need a K-Mart.

Heh, K-Mart closed several years ago. Wal-Mart must have bought them out.

    Sprawlmart, only at Sprawlmart

And K-Marts still exist...they just closed a lot of them.

Ours still creeps along, even though it's been on life support for the past 10 years.

You guys are so lucky; the Wal-Marts up here in Canookland close at 9 on weekdays and 5 on weekends.

I think I would feel dirty going anywhere north of DC. But that's just me.

I don't see what the big deal is about shopping at wal mart, really.

It somehow being wrong to shop at Wal-Mart is just one of many cliches i'll never understand about society.

That said, I generally try to avoid Wal-Mart simply because I hate large, congested crowds. (I wouldn't survive in NYC)
