Just got back from The Da Vinci Code. Having not read the book, I still have to say that I'm slightly disappointed in the movie overall. A few things that I thought:

    1. it's f*cking bullshit that Tom Hanks can solve all those anagrams in his head, not to mention figuring out Fibonacci numbers, secret hidden clues, solving a cryptex just like that, etc. He's a freak of nature!

    2. The "Silas" character was bang on. Bang on, I say.

Definitely not vintage Tom Hanks. I didn't even think he had good chemistry with that b*tch Sophie. I'd wait for the DVD, and even then, it's just a rental. It's not the type of movie that you watch over and over; once you know how the clues are solved, then it's hard to watch it again.

I'll pass on the Da Vinci code.

Saw it last night. It's good. Entertaining -- unless you have to get all PC and shit. Ride the wave ...it's a good flick!

Only movie I've seen this year, Silent Hill. It's a really good movie in the fact that it is about 90% true to the game, and I am a fan of the games.

Also hoping to see X-Men and Pirates of the Caribbean later.

Thanks but no thanks. I'll stick to Jack Black's Vendetta and Adam Sandler's remote movies coming up soon. But dude, Tom Hanks needs to get rid of the weirdo haitcut:

I'm not sure what to think of Hanks' performance. I wasn't all that impressed frankly. Yeah, maybe it was the hair.

X-Men 3..Awesome! They finally show Magneto's power and it was a great story. Problem is it wasn't long enough.

Sandler's flick is called Remote. Its where he gets a remote that can run his life, like fast forwarding through fights and stuff.

I want to see it just to see David Hasselhoff get punched by Adam Sandler.
