    Holidays "diss"-cussion zone.

Any of you start your Holidays shopping yet? I know it's still before Thanksgiving (in the USA), but since today is pay day, once I get off work, I'm going on a huge Christmas gifts buying spree this evening and getting everything done in one shot. Last year, it was too much "last minute" for me and a few people got mad at me for the gifts I gave them.

One gift so far for my kids... a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory DVD... my kids and I will be walking thru the mall looking at things this weekend... I'll be making my list of things they like...

I'll be getting a gift for the soon-to-be ex.... nothing big... and I'll be making sure my kids buy something with my money for her....

My extended family is so large, I hate shopping for them... too many brothers, sisters, mothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, etc.... I wish my family would just become sensible and draw names from a hat and then just focus on the young kids other than that... 30 or so $25 gifts sucks

Hah nice! Now that's an awesome gift. I remember having one of those twenty years ago. Are you going to just give it to him as is, cause that's hard to gift-wrap.

I do Christmas shopping the day before Christmas.

Call me cheap, but this will be my first time buying gifts to the rest of my family.

I have no idea what to give them.

Yea, comes with a ski mask and hand gun, never had stuff like that when I was that young.

Christmas isnt bad but the shopping and people driving like dipshits are what ruin it. Give me my family and some nice food, and im good to go.

I've gotten a few things for the holidays. I ordered a few things online and actually went to the store for one. I have more things left than what I've gotten already. I just do a little at a time to spread it out instead of buying everything at once, but I still get it done early. I don't like doing things last minute and I don't like large crowds o' people at the stores.

For an early christmas + birthday gift my dad and grandma split and got me an iMac ($1250..so yeah birthday present had to go too) There isn't much else I want this year, maybe March Madness and a packer hoodie.

For Christmas shopping all I do is get my mom and dad something, usually a gift card, so I'll be alright with that.

i got my sister some Everlast sharp knives. i picked em up at sams club about a month ago (mostly because of oppurtunity) and got a teddy bear for one of my younger relatives ($10 off of it when i spent 40 bucks at the book store) a coupla weeks ago, not sure whom yet.

my parents arent going to be getting much from me this year after i dropped $700 on em for an elliptical machine last year and about $800 for them the previous year for a computer for them.

I dont plan on doing my real shopping for the family until about a week before xmas.
