Lets talk baseball video games

WBC would be amazing, but I think it is still a few years away.

Has anyone seen the MLB 06: The Show previews yet? I am wondering if it is supposed to be like the NFL Blitz: The League, or the NBA 06: The Life titles. It would be awesome to have a story mode in a baseball players life. Man, I hope this is what it is supposed to be.

well I know that I am defintly getting the EA sports MVP 06 NCAA Baseball that game looks amazing...but I will not get MLB 2K6 take two makes horrible baseball games but nice stadiums...as for MLB 06: the show I am looking into renting it and maybe buying...what about you othe guys into the baseball games?

I might be getting MVP 2006 NCAA if(I am not trying to be biest, this is the only game system I have) they make it for Game Cube.

i just searched it on IGN.com and only got a result for the XBOX and PS2 but they may still be makeing it for Gamecube I hope they do

But the soundtrack looks to be even worse than year's past (which is hard to beat.)

The video game maker inked a licensing deal with Chicago-based Victory Records to use 10 Victory songs as the game's soundtrack, including tracks from emerging bands like Hawthorne Heights, Aiden, and Silverstein. Hawthorne Heights is set to drop its new album, This Is Who We Are, in January, and includes the title track on the game's soundtrack. The game is set for release in spring 2006.

True it's only 3/10 listed but they are all terrible. Let's hope for the XBOX that we can have custom soundtracks.

EA can never get a good soundtrack...the last soundtrack I enjoyed was Madden 2005 and 2004 06 wasn't bad bat country and Dance, Dance are good but maybe the EA songs will be catchy
