Re: Greatest Simpsons Quotes
Homer and Marge about to leave for their High School reunion, once again showing Homer's obsession with Happy Days.
Homer: It'll be great to see the old gang again. Potsie, Ralph Malph, the Fonz.
Marge: That wasn't you, that was "Happy Days"!
Homer: No, they weren't all happy days. Like the time Pinky Tuscadero crashed her motorcycle, or the night I lost all my money to those card sharks and my dad Tom Bosley had to get it back.
Marge: [groan]
Re: Greatest Simpsons Quotes
That one went way over my head. Maybe because I've never watched Happy Days?
Re: Greatest Simpsons Quotes
If I never saw the show, it would of done the same to me.

You've never seen Happy Days!? And you call yourself a good American!?
Oh wait, NM.
Re: Greatest Simpsons Quotes
Tonight's Simpsons episode had to be the best of the season. I finally thought that Sideshow Bob had foiled Bart, but alas, it was not meant to be. Some of Bob's plans are downright hilarious, like blowing up the family by putting a laptop with a defective battery on top of some boxes of TNT.
Re: Greatest Simpsons Quotes
 Yeah tonights episode was pretty good...Do you think Sideshow will ever get Bart?
Re: Greatest Simpsons Quotes
That was the best episode in quite some time. Of course it's not like a classic episode, but really good. The plot was entertaining despite being predictable and was actually paced decently. The characterizations seemed on. And the humor was more hit or miss.
It would of been nice though if there was a bit more banter between Bob and Cecil, I really liked it when they did that on the last episode they had with Cecil.

[Burns takes the puppies out of a bath]
Burns: There you are...there you go, little fellow...and you.
[one of the puppies stands on its hind legs]
[gasps] Smithers, look: he's standing up. I've never seen
anything so adorable! Do you know who it reminds me of?
Smithers: Benji?
Burns: No.
Smithers: Lassie?
Burns: No, no, no, a person. You know who I mean.
Smithers: Snoop Doggy Dogg? Bob Barker? David Brenner?
Burns: No, no! The person who's always standing and walking.
Smithers: Rory Calhoun?
Burns: That's it!
....later....
Bart looks around frantically, and spying some underwear and socks
hanging on a clothesline, gets an idea. He wheels them over the dogs
heads as Burns says, "Now it's simply a matter of bending down and
picking up the one and only --" The dogs, true to form, stand up and
reach for the socks. "This can't be happening! They're all standing.
I can't tell them apart." He sighs heavily. "All right, you win: I'll
have to kill them all." Bart and Lisa protest.
Burns: But they're so wretchedly adorable. 25 little Rory
Calhouns...I can't do it. But I can kill you.
[Lisa whimpers like a puppy]
No, I can't kill you either. Look at you, standing there on
your hind legs like a couple of Rory Calhouns.
Re: Greatest Simpsons Quotes
That episode was chalk full of solid :gold: quotes one after the other.
Re: Greatest Simpsons Quotes
"That ain't not bad!" I forget what episode that was, but Bart said it once.

That was in "Grift of the Magi" in Season 11.

Bart: Lisa's in trouble. Ha! The ironing is delicious.
Lisa: The word is "irony".
Bart: Huh?
Lisa: Don't you think there's something weird going on here? We spent all day selecting fabric swatches, and then our guest speaker was Phil from marketing.
Bart: All's I know is I'm getting straight A's, and that ain't not bad!
