I don't recall that one DK, which episode is it from? Because it's hilarious as it is in text form.

Oh. That wasn't in an episode. It's from one of those Simpsons comic books if you read those.

Ah ok. I thought I would of remembered that since Burns' classic lines always seem to stick.

By the way, last week's episode was surprisingly good I thought (for newer Simpsons episodes.)

Tonight's episode was filled with ness.

    Lenny: "I'm not a villain, I'm a transvestite!"

    Re: Greatest Simpsons Quotes

Forgot to talk about this, but did anyone watch Sunday's Simpsons? The sexual innuendo in this episode was really at a new level: insinuating that Bart (at 10 years old!) had sex with a 15 year old, that he got her pregnant, that he actually believed that the baby was his, etc. Of course, this is on top of the 15 year old girl sleeping around with different underage boys and getting knocked up by one of those kids. Damn...

One I have thought of after watching the episode recently on one of the nine first nine seasons that I have on DVD:

"D'oh! A deer. A female deer."- Homer, Lisa and Marge(in that order) after hitting a deer statue while looking for Stampy, Bart's elephant
The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

    Re: Greatest Simpsons Quotes

They had the episode with the "real" Skinner on, which I know a lot hate, but I've always particularly enjoyed it (mostly due to the parody they are subtly doing of how Simpsons fans would react.) Anyway, I love the ending where the "real" Skinner, who is a perfectly ok guy (just not Armen Tanzarian), demanding respect for his time he spent serving the country and spending years under captivity for the United States despite the fact that the town doesn't like him as much personally as the other Skinner. So they get the whole town together at the train station and tie the "real" Skinner on a chair to an open train cart, with the town clapping and cheering for him. When he starts saying that he deserves their respect for all that he did, Homer says "And we salute you for that" as the whole town simultaneously salutes him. His mother is walking next to the train as it moves off as she tells him that he just wasn't what she was looking for in a son. All the while a marching band plays him off in this reverse war hero homecoming.

Gotta love how the Simpsons advocates shooting yourself in the head as a legitimate solution to helplessness and despair.

    Re: Greatest Simpsons Quotes

Deep Space Homer was on last night, quite possibly one of the funniest episodes.

Homer: Marge...I don't really want to go through with this. But being
an astronaut is how I got you to respect me!
Marge: Homer, when I met you, you weren't an astronaut. You didn't even
know how to use a touchtone, but I _still_ respected you and I
    always will, no matter what.
[touchtone sounds come from the phone]
    Homer, you already dialed.

But on the other hand, when you don't take advantage of an
opportunity, you can end up regretting it for the rest of your
    life.
Homer: You're right, Marge. Just like the time I could have met Mr. T
at the mall. The entire day I kept saying, "I'll go a little
later. I'll go a little later." And then when I got there, they
told me he'd just left. And when I asked the mall guy if he
would ever come back again, he said he didn't know. Well, I'm
never going to let something like that happen again! I'm going
    into space right now!
Marge: Oh, I am so proud of you. And I know it's going to go just fine
    --
[touchtone sounds come from the phone]
    Mmm...

    Re: Greatest Simpsons Quotes

Kent: We're just about to get our first pictures from inside the
spacecraft with "average-naut" Homer Simpson, and we'd like to
    -- aah!
[Camera shows a close-up of an ant floating in front of the
    three astronauts
    ]
    Everyone: Aah!
Kent: Ladies and gentlemen, er, we've just lost the picture, but,
uh, what we've seen speaks for itself. The Corvair spacecraft
has been taken over -- "conquered", if you will -- by a master
race of giant space ants. It's difficult to tell from this
vantage point whether they will consume the captive earth men
or merely enslave them. One thing is for certain, there is no
stopping them; the ants will soon be here.
And I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords. I'd like to
remind them that as a trusted TV personality, I can be helpful
in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar
    caves.

    .... Later

Kent: Well, this reporter was ... possibly a little hasty earlier and would
like to reaffirm his allegiance to this country and its human
president. It may not be perfect, but it's the best government we have.
    For now.

    ---
That is just too funny in combination with the images they show on the newscast, like the humans toiling in the ant overlord sugar caves.

Willy: Now the kilt was only for day-to-day wear. In battle, we donned a full-length ball gown covered in sequins. The idea was to blind your opponent with luxury.
So good it had to be quoted. Oh and it was said during "Scotchtoberfest."

On the Episode NY City versus Homer

Homer: New York's a hell hole. You know how I feel about hell holes

    On Lisa's Sax episode

Homer and Marge are singing then...
