Firewalls..

I can't access the music store on iTunes for some reason. The message it gives me reads: "itunes could not connect to the music store. the network connection timed out. make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active."

I went to their website to look for help on the problem and it seems to be pointing towards a firewall. How do I get rid of the firewall? If that's even the case.

this happened to me too once what I had to do was go to(if you have windows XP may work with regular windows too not sure) the "control panel" then go to "network and internet conections" and on one side it should say "windows firewall" and just click the "NO" box and it will be off

I set it up where itunes was an exception.. I'll see if this works

error message changed a little, saying it "couldn't connect to host" .. blah

That's why I don't have firewalls.
