I donate every couple of months. Five times a year. At my last visit, I reached a gallon and got a t-shirt and a mug.

:P I get pizza when I give. I need to, its passed the 52 day wait but havent had time. Soccers almost over, so that will probably open up sometime for me to give.

Im like Husker 4-6 times a year usually. I also get all the umpteen hundred phone calls anytime theres one in the region.

Every time I've ever tried they wouldn't take it because I had been sick the previous week. I've tried though.

I did it once in high school and the stupid whore couldn't find my vein and she kept sticking it in random places. I don't know if I will ever give blood again.

Twice, not sure when the school one is because I would prefer to do it then and not at the clinic, but we shall see.

Honestly, that's how I feel. I've never done it, although I've thought about it a number of times. I know it's a good thing and encourage everyone to do it, but I HATE needles.

If they let me down a glass or three of scotch ahead of time, I'd probably have no problem with it.

They're overrated, there's little to no pain.

It just depends who's sticking the needle in your arm. If you have an inexperienced lady, chances are she might have the needle in the wrong place.

The first time I donated, an older gal told me to drink fluids and eat a good dinner. She also mentioned not to lift anything heavy for 24 hours and I told her, "How am I suppose to pee?"
