F*** YOU GEORGE W. BUSH!!! I don't understand how anyone could vote for that idiot. He bungles everything and anything. Last December, relief was so quick to come to the tsunami victims. But when it comes to the relief of BLACK people in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, he doesn't give a damn...It's almost been a freakin week and people are still trapped in New Orleans.

And our so-called Secretary of State was shopping for shoes while her people were suffering...

I wonder how God feels about this if I'm this angry. The injustice of this is so heartbreaking. And I don't want to hear people say, well they told them to evacuate. A lot of these people COULDN'T AFFORD TO GET OUT. What the hell were they supposed to do? It is the fault of this govt that New O is flooded. Louisiana has been begging to get money to make those levees hurricane ready. Our govt turned a deaf ear and now look at the consequences.

May God bless and be with all the victims of this crisis. As for Bush...may God have mercy on him for his total lack of compassion towards his fellow human beings. The bottom line is: black people did not vote for Bush and he doesn't feel he owes them anything. If these were poor white people, relief would have been there the very next day, because of course those same white people voted for Bush, didn't they?

And I know I'm gonna get a lot of flaming for this and I don't care. I can't believe some of the stuff I'm reading in this thread.

PEace A's Baby Girl, much respect and love. Too many people in this country want to ignore racism, thinking it will or has gone away. America is scared of the race issue. While I admit sometimes it's brought up when it shouldn't be, and this case isn't one of those, the reaction of many white people when it does come up justifies the accusations to begin with. I'm not going to act like I truly understand what you are feeling and going through because I don't, but I try to the best of my ability. It's truly sad that race became an issue during this tragedy, but it only did because the slowness or lack of urgency by the government allowed it to become one.

This was a ****ing catastrophe of epic proportions. and to blame bush (solely) is the most asinine thing in the world. Blame shouldnt even be assigned at this point. That can come later.
