What summer programming have you been watching?

Most summers I can never find much to watch other than re-runs and late night but this summer I have had a few shows to make sure my Tivo was set to tape.

    Entourage-HBO-Sunday's
I really enjoy this show. I don't know if it's quite on par with the first season but this season has been quality, no doubt. And Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven) is well...

    Stella-Comedy Central-Tuesday's
I've always been a fan of Michael Ian Black and this show's comedy style fits him perfect. It's dumb humor, but still fantastic.

    Hells Kitchen-Fox-Monday's
Off the air now but I was very surprised by this show. I must confess, I do watch some reality TV and I initially watched this thinking it would be good for a few laughs (poor FOX production I figured) but it was a quality show. And as a result I started doing a spot on Gordon Ramsey impression (if I do say so myself.)

    Family Guy-Fox-Sunday's
After waiting so long, the return finally came. Overall I think they were trying a bit too hard, a lot of hit or miss type skits.... but the ones that worked were freaking hilarious. Plus given the time off and such, I didn't expect the show to be firing on all cylinders instantly. That said, I do hope the upcoming season in the fall continues to build speed. Can't wait for that.

Other than re-run's, late night and BBTN... that's it.

What were you watching this summer (if anything)?

Lots of ATH, PTI, and every day SC. Other than that and Baseball tonight/OTL, NFL Live, I watch:

Modern Marvels-sometimes interesting, a good time waster.

Other than that...just movies I guess.

Sunday - The 4400 and Dead Zone - USA

Monday - The Closer - TNT

Tuesday - Rescue Me - FX

Last night I wastched two very different and bizarre shows on FX -
Starve and Sunny in Philadelphia, both kinda quirky and a change of pace.

Then there was that 6-part miniseries, Into the West on TNT which was interesting.

I'm waiting for Nip/Tuck to come back.....

Family Guy(forgot to watch it this week!), The First 48 and Family Plots. Family Plots is a strange but amusing show-takes place in a mortuary.

I also have been watching Airline. It's freakin' hilarious to see people argue about how they were late for a flight or someone is too drunk to be put on a plane.

30 Days on FX is pretty cool. Wouldn't mind seeing it again.

I've also been watching a lot of Around the Horn. Before, I was a PTI fan, but not as much. SportsCenter, ESPNEWS, some ESPN Classic shows.

I also cannot wait for the premire of "Tommy Lee goes to College" which starts next Tuesday at 9/8 Central on NBC.

    I think he's hilarious.

At the beginning of the series, he was supposed to progressively cure his OCD but I guess the writer's figured out that then the show wouldn't be funny. His new nurse is pretty cute, too.

Wow, what this person said ^

The Dead Zone and shows on FX are head above the rest.
