I did consider it and had a plan. The weather isn't cooperating.

If it's raining that makes it better.

Just don't do anything like these.

The "Ice Bucket Fails" are even more amusing at times.

Fail, no ice in the "ice water" makes it just water.

And Leo, I'm a little disappointed in you. I fully expected an insightful rant questioning what real benefit ALS patients and researchers derive from people posting ice bucket vids on FB and YT. They need money, not a viral social media trend that no one will remember in 6 months.

    Re: ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

I made that rant on Facebook. But I actually recanted. As stupid as it is on the surface and despite the fact that many are doing it for all the wrong reasons it's bringing in real money for the research so you can't argue with the results.

    Re: ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

There will always be people looking for the negative side of things (not you Leo) and be haters. I just thought it was interesting the different ways people went about it, like saying ALS wasn't a real disease or telling people that they should donate to this disease instead or that not enough money was going to wait people were donating it for, saying that the 200,000 or so salary the CEOs were sky high for a charity and that all the money was going to them, ect ect.

    Re: ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

I thought the people that complained about how you "wasted" water by doing the challenge was kind of humorous. I don't care how money is raised.. As long as money is going towards figuring out cure. Every bit helps. And hopefully it puts us that much closer to finding a cure. Some people might disagree with it but I feel whatever works towards the ultimate goal at the end.

I agree with the wasting water criticism especially since CA is facing a drought and we may be water rationed if shit keeps going this way.
