Game of Thrones.
That is all.
is terrible, that is all.
-spoiler warning for S1 - Game of Thrones if you haven't seen it-
unfortunately, the [spoiler] tags are completely useless unless you mouse over them first, so there's really no point in using them at all
Finished the first season of Game of Thrones. Overall, I do like it, but I was pretty disappointed when a lead character lost his head. Unfortunately, while looking up some stuff on the GoT wikia page, I stumbled across his profile page and saw that he was listed as 'deceased' about 2 episodes before it happened. I stopped reading, didn't want to see how or why it happened. He was already in custody at the point that I saw it. I thought he was a key/central figure throughout the series, but apparently if he is, much of it is post-mortem. :( Really liked his character as he is one of the very few that had even an ounce of integrity in him.
I still use the spoiler tags anyway.
Being somewhat useless while hoping the person hovers first is better than nothing at all.
From what I have heard of Games of Thrones if you don't like lead characters being killed off be prepared as it happens quite often.
I guess the "Walking Dead", too but they come back...zombies after all? Well, at least until they are destroyed. Kinda comes with the territory. Like these book series I read "House of Night"....vampires.... "Divergent"....dystopian societies.
Just bought season 4 of Archer on Blu-ray.

I honestly don't know if there's another show that I have laughed at as much in just 4 short seasons as I have at Archer. Unfortunately, I have to wait about 11 months to see the current season since I don't have FX.
Another season of Game of Thrones off to a ridiculous start. All men must die should have been the tag line from the very start
I read the first 3 (maybe first 4, don't remember...don't care) books back in the late 90's. I didn't like main characters getting killed as much as I disliked the continual introduction of new characters, new plotlines, and the lack of resolution or reasonable continuance of the old plotlines. If I recall, GRRM still hasn't finished the series. Just keeps going on and on and on. Fuck that. I hear the HBO series has been compressing and deviating and I am all for that. Fuck that "stay accurate to the books!" bullshit. In most cases I agree with that, but not for these books.
Michael Pitt was such a great choice to play Mason Verger, but I cannot wait until he is viciously destroyed..by Hannibal.
Or well, it might just happen right now by Will Graham.
