Man, I can't believe you people think that Spider-Man was better than Spider-Man 2

    It wasn't.

Dafoe was great as the Goblin, but the Goblin sucked as a villain. IMO, the 2nd one was more sappier with Peter telling the truth about Uncle Ben to Aunt May and Mary Jane ranting, "I can't believe that even my best friend can't even come.. Spiderman didn't even kill the villain the second time, too.

The second one was way truer to the comic story. Peter struggled with being a "super-hero" on more than one occasion and even hung up his PJ's because of it. Just like in SP2. Harry and Peter being best friends yet Harry's hatred for Spider-Man was good too. Peter letting down MJ numerous times.... all of these things are so much truer to the real storyline than that first one.

Spider-man isn't out to kill the villains. In the comics, Doc Ock was killed by some warlock guy (before coming back again..).

Wasn't bad, but probably not as good as the others to some. Pretty much nothing beats spidey in my book, 'cept Batman Returns which got the axe [tears].

I suspect Sin City was too different for some people.
