2012 Version of Movies You've Seen Thread (plus Chocolate Milk)

    New in theaters

    Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Spy-
Very good had the feel of an old movie style.

    Warhorse-
    Awesome, should win some awards.

    The Iron Lady-
    2 words……..Meryl Streep!

Older movies saw for the first time.

Ghostwriter-Better than previews looked, neat plot twist at the end.

Boy In The Striped Pajamas-anything set during the Nazi regime is bound to be depressing, but after seeing the young actor in Hugo, wanted to see it………good film, heartbreaking ending of course.

Has anyone seen Michael Fassbender's penis at the theatre yet? George Clooney would be jealous.

I've seen no 2012 movies yet. There's a laundry list though once spring hits. Jesus I can't even count the number.

I have seen The Killer Elite (boring, completely wasted mockery of an action film) and Moneyball (will post a blog review soon)

Man on a Ledge previews have caught my interest.

You're not the first person to tell me Killer Elite sucked.

I expected over the top craziness with Statham and Owen.

    Save yourself, skip it.

Speaking of Statham, chuck Norris got The Expendables knocked down to a PG-13 rating. Lmao

Wife wants to see it, but read the book first. What did you think about it?

Only movie I care for seeing is the Dark Knight Rises. I have a date with a joint come July!! Moonrise Kingdom is another movie I would see but don't need to see it at the theater.

I had no idea what that was, so I googled, and I see 3 names... Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, and Ed Norton. I can only imagine now.
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted
: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!

Yeah it's a Wes Anderson film. Same guy that made Rushmore, Life Aquatic, Bottle Rocket and the Royal Tenenbaums. I love his movies. Bill Murray is my favorite person in the business!

So this week it's that gal kicking everyone's ass in Haywire and next week Liam Neeson sends a big FU to PETA by kicking a bunch of wolves' asses.

“Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” was awesome, but technically I saw it “last” year. I was surprised it didn’t do better at the Golden Globes.

I want to see “Haywire” too, saw another clip when Ewan McGregor was on Jimmy Fallon last night…he plays the “bad guy” so he probably gets fucked up. I was already intrigued when I saw the clip of her kicking Channing Tatum's ass.

New-Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close -some critics had accused the author of attempting to profit off the 9/11 tragedy with his book and now the film……….well. It worked as for us and the majority of the audience it was hard not to get choked up at many points.

    Older-
I saw the original Swedish version of “Let the Right One In” (American version was “Let Me In”, which I have not seen.) According to reviews, the movies are tamer (?) than the book, now I want to read it and see the English version.

I red boxed “Thor” last night, amazing what they can create with the computer graphics and I love anything with Natalie Portman.
