Thread: Harry Potter-mania!

    Harry Potter-mania!

Well, the new Harry Potter book came out July 17th...and it's been insane since! My local library ordered 52 copies! This is ONE Library! There are about 50 Libraries in NYC! I pre-ordered it, got it 9 AM the day it came out..read it non-stop for 6 hours, finished it. Gotta say I wasn't blown away like I was by 4 and 5, but I was not disappointed. Did anyone else read the book?

PS: Sadly enough, I work at a Harry Potter site(Veritaserum.com)...now, don't laugh..it's the inner child in me...

Where I live, they're selling it in King Kullen and CVS.

Well anyways, that book gives me headaches when I read it.

Don't you love the Harry Potter smiley.

I did, and I enjoyed it, although it didn't excite as much as prior books did.

I'm not a fan of the Harry Potter books, but its great to see the younger youth read something during the summer break.

If anyone does post the spoilers, please mark them so others don't read them.

    Thanks.

I read it, and loved it. I'm a Harry Potter freak. I wasn't too blown away, but the book was great nonetheless and love how the story is going.

I liked it better than the 5th one, but Id say the 4th is still the best.

That's right after the part where Voldemort eats Harry's brain.

I got into the books well after Book 5 was released. Although not exactly the epitome of writing quality, they are easy, fun books to read and waste a day on or so. It's a page-turner at the least.
