    Holy crap. Constantine went?! Ahead of Blade, Superman, Punisher!? (haven't seen FF yet, but no way is it better than Constantine).

    Shoulda went out there and pleaded for votes for batman or blade then!


    Jane did good as the Punisher. John Travolta was what sucked about the movie, a lame villain. Can't wait for Punisher 2..

    Jane is more realistic than having some juiced up guy with muscles for veins walking around trying to gain a measure of revenge and exacting justice on criminals. I'd rather watch Jane than seeing some hulking mass blowing up everyone (ala Ahnuld).

    They also made John Constantine more believable to the mainstream crowd. The comic adaptation is a blond guy with an accent. Who buys a pretty boy in such a gritty field of work? Change it around, tear down Keanu's "whoa!" attitude and you have something more appropriate. The comics aren't always perfect either, basically.

    My only real problem with constantine (the movie) since I never read a single Hellblazer comic in my life, was that John Constantine is actually Neo. Just about every single aspect of his acting, demeaner, etc was Neo.

    You know, I need to sit down and write out how many times Keanu has saved the world. I bet we are on #8 or #9 by now. Amazing how this below average actor gets so many roles. Loved the Matrix trilogy, but Keanu is a terrible actor.

    Back to constantine, the reason they didn't go with the comic version, is because Hollywood wouldn't back it with him being a blonde limey. Once his home was LA, they signed right off. Weird.

    People pay to go see his movies( 'cept for that Johnny Nneumonic thing), that's why he gets the roles. No one will probably every say Vin Diesel or the Rock are good actors, but they accomplish the action star save so and so beat up the bad guys... persona. With that said, I do enjoy Diesel's movies...
