Movies in 2011 You've Seen Thread

Well, you don't have to review them. Tell us what you've seen and what not, this year. And please use spoiler tags if you must spoil!

Just for the Spring/Summer season, I have seen:

    Your Highness (sucked)
Fast Five (surprisingly awesome and not shocking it's the first 200 million movie this year)
Thor (also good, wasn't expecting much and it was pretty nifty)
The Hangover 2 (I really liked the sequel)
X-Men: First Class (Michael Fassbender is a God)
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted
: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!

I saw Crazy Stupid Love. The movie was great and Steve Carrell was amazing as was Ryan Gosling and Julianne Moore.

Only one I remember off the top of my head is PotC: On Stranger Tides. No anorexic Keira Knightley, yay!
I thought it was good the first time, then it seemed longer and more boring the 2nd time. None of them can top the 1st Pirates movie though.

Others I want to see are Green Lantern and Cowboys and Aliens (whenever it comes out).

I watched No Strings Attached last evening and it really wasn't that great. I love Natalie Portman, but this movie just wasn't that funny. Her performance in Black Swan was 10,000 times better.

Yea, it was okay, but the scene with the "period mix" was funny.

I changed the thread title, let's just roll with movies you have seen for the first time, in 2011.

I just watched Drive Angry the other day. My God, the insanity and absurd level of film making.. but it was fun to watch. No gem by any means, but it's over the top shit starring Nic Cage. End of story.
And William Fichter was awesome as the demon person. He stole the movie.

Loved him in Vice City. Actually, that whole cast was greatness. Gary Busey, Tom Sizemore, Danny Trejo, Lawrence Taylor, and Jenna Jameson sound more like a list at a recovery meeting than at a voice-over recording studio.

Danny Trejo is the most sane person from that list too, hahaha

Saw Green Lantern Sunday. Kind of mediocre I guess. I heard a bunch of stuff was cut out by WB so it would be more based on Earth so audiences could relate to it better. Honestly, who would see Green Lantern just to see what's going on with the homeworld? You can see that in every other movie. Looks like good sequel potential though.

I liked it for what it was but I wasn't expecting a whole lot. Hard comic to really translate to the big screen it appears. Or DC just has Batman and Superman to bank on at the theatre.
