Shocked 'Alice in Wonderland' on track to break all sorts of box office records

Box office: 'Alice in Wonderland' on track to break all March records by Nicole Sperling
    Mar 6 2010 12:00 PM ET

Disney Studios sure chose the right date with its March premiere of Alice in Wonderland. The Tim Burton-Johnny Depp collaboration debuted Friday to close to $40 million, putting its 3-day cume in the range of $110-$120 million. That far surpasses the previous March record-holder, Warner Bros.’ 300 which opened to $71 million back in 2007.
I was going to go see it, but then I decided that I would rather slit my wrists.

I saw this last night (yay for gift cards!). I liked it much better than his variation of Willy Wonka. I was severely disappointed with that one.

I didn't see Pocavatar so I can't really compare. Clash of the Titans will probably be the next movie.

I haven't seen Avatar either. I think I'll wait till the actual Smurfs movie comes out.. hyuk.

I really want to see Clash of the Titans, I loved the original as a kid.
