Yep, good way to go out. I really thought he was going to break down and cry at the end when he made his farewell speech.
Its only too bad that Conan finally gets the ratings he should have been getting with news of him being canceled. He should have been the host of the Tonight Show for 25 or 30 years, not 7 months.

I have been reading Conan's name all over the net lately but never bothered to explore the situation. I gathered he was leaving NBC and that video clarified it.
I take it NBC canceled his show? Either way, that was hilarious.
Fox would just cancel him.
And then bring him back.
And then cancel him again.

They really didn't cancel him. Both him and Leno weren't doing great in the ratings. Leno wasn't getting ratings for a primetime show, and Conan was losing to Letterman (unlike Leno, when he had The Tonight Show.) They wanted to move Leno to 11:35 for a half hour and then Conan would start at 12:05 for an entire hour. Conan didn't like this and eventually they parted ways so Conan is out and Leno takes over his old spot for the entire hour.

Yes, but Will Ferrell killed it (killed it as in not in a good way). I could have appreciated the effort in his rendition of the song if only he didn't feel the need to clown around with the mike.
