Cocaine? Heroin? nothing good can come of this. They think it's going to help them focus on catching big drug operations instead of wasting their time on small drug busts ... but this is going to blow up in their face, imo.

This will do nothing more than fatten the wallets of the corrupt Mexican government and law enforcement agencies as well as their judicial system.

The number of countries we need to invade is getting larger by the day.

Make Mexico a territory of the United States and set up a DMZ at the border. It's the only way IMO.

Honestly, I could see marijuana. If decriminalized in America, it would still, likely, only be the third worst legal drug available readily in the U.S.

However, ecstacy? heroin? cocaine? I cannot see any justification for this. That's where you go from recreational to hardcore drugs than can cause serious harm.

I don't think the U.S. needs to do anything about it...but they need to distance themselves from Mexico if the president passes this.

Do you honestly think that will ever happen? The Fox and the Bush have been bed-buddies from day one and the Foxes influence on the US through the Bush is very strong. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out, especillay during this volitile time with the illegal alien thing going on and all.....

I never said it would happen, just that it should.

    Another update

    The bad news......

The legislature has adjourned for the summer, and when it comes back, it will have an entirely new lower house and one-third new Senate members following the July 2 elections, which will also make the outgoing Fox a lame duck.

And we thought our suits on the Hill had lots of breaks.........

bump..I was just talking to redsr about this stuff. I don't know if anyone else ever saw the History Channel's Gangland episode To Torture or to Kill, but it's ****ing scary to think that shit can spill over across the border. The Feds really ****ed up when they took out Escobar down in Colombia, because now the Central American narco-traffickers aren't kept in line.
