Attention! All right, we get it

Michael Jackson died. It's been a week now. He was a good musician.

But enough is enough already. My god...you would think that literally not a damn thing is going on in the world besides everyone remembering MJ, who apparently is the single greatest man ever. And never did anything wrong.

Sad news and a great musician, but can we just give it a rest already?
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Thank GOD I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I'm going on vacation tomorrow and I'll be away from TV. If I come back on Sunday and there's STILL shit about this guy's death and whatnot...pay attention to the news, there will be a murdering spree by yours truly. Death by rusty kitchen knives to the eyeballs.

The man is dead, he can't create headlines anymore. It will fade out.

People who grew up listening to his music, like my sister or I did, care. Others don't and that's fine, but he will never get this kind of coverage again. It is overboard, but it won't happen again so I really do not see the harm; it's not like he will die again.

And for the record, I do think it has been too much as all other news has practically been ignored (and some important things have happened.) But there are few deaths that would cause this much coverage, it was to be expected. Today was the climax, it will fade out over the week.

It's not that I don't care, I understand the guy had a lot of fans...but there's a point where it's just too much.

Life's so much less annoying when you don't watch much TV and what TV shows you do watch you get via internet streaming.

considering the deluge of CDs/DVDs/tribute concerts/drama with his kids, most definitely.

and it had been 12 days since his death...almost 2 weeks.

But they don't saturate the news to the point that people have to complain about it with threads like this.
