I don't have it, but would be interested in hearing other reviews. The thing that would annoy me is that the rosters are set up from before the offseason...

    This doesn't look too encouraging.

MLB Front Office Manager Review (Xbox 360)

Not in 2K Sports’ MLB Front Office Manager. It’s really no deeper than the manager and franchise modes you’ve seen in most “full” baseball games out on the market, and worse, features a horribly designed interface that seems more geared to driving you insane than making the playoffs. Horrible U.I. design in a game that’s essentially a series of menus is unforgiveable.

Not that we’re slamming Front Office Manager for being a bunch of menus. For the kind of game it is, that’s mostly what we expect. But making them navigable, helpful, and not a total clusterfudge of useless information that’s not linked to each other in any meaningful way is unexcusable. Oh yeah, and they look bad.
Normally with a game like this, I would say something along the lines of: “the true stat hounds will find a lot to like about the game once they dig in”. But not this time. MLB Front Office Manager is a poorly designed excuse to cash in some more on 2K’s MLB license. It doesn’t even hold up to most franchise modes in full featured sports games, so why anyone would pay for this separately and suffer through it is beyond me. If you’re that hard core, go buy a copy of Strat-o-Matic. I think they still make it.
