How much $ do you pay per month for internet?

Just curious to see if I'm getting ripped off or not with regards to the competition and if I should look for a better price plan with a different company.

How much do you pay per month and what speeds and download/upload limits do you get?

yep, although there's a deal that if you sign up for all of their service right now, i guess it's 40 straight for the rest of the year? For everything?

we have comcast net & tv, and at&t phone service... needless to say, comcast is expensive unless you purchase some package from them. But their customer service was so awful we went without a house phone for awhile, so we just cancelled our phone service, since they couldn't get anyone compotent out to fix it. Switched to At&t. Might switch back now because of this deal they were advertising, if its even still valid.

As for speeds... evidently comcast just boosted their speeds, or so goes according to a letter they sent their customers. I tested it out on one of those speed sites the other day:

download speed: 15399 kbps
upload speed: 5396 kbps

Yeah, I'm getting like 450 kbps for downloads via torrents. At the dorm, I used to get 1-2 MBPS.

right now i am getting $19.95 per month until November when it goes back up to $45 bucks for the internet. i think the speed is supposed to now be 12 MBPS...

We get pretty decent speeds back home. I believe it's around 18MB downlaod. Don't know what the upload should be. I just got the best TW had. I still want something better. Not sure what I pay but it's about the average what everyone above pays.
