Best 25 Movies of 2008

Early warning, they always dig well done documentaries and indie films. So there's prolly several most of you have never heard of.

I've seen ...wow, only a couple. I've only seen a couple on the honorable mentions too. Dang.

I do have several of these I'd like to either buy or see when they come out on DVD.

I've seen: Gunnin' For That #1 Spot, Tropic Thunder, In Bruges, The Dark Knight, Son of Rambow, Happy Go Lucky, Iron Man, Slumdog Millionaire, Wall-E, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

I plan to see Frost/Nixon sometime too.

The close but no cigar list I saw: Ghost Town The Wackness, The Wrestler (>_>), and Smart People (which sucked big time.)

Only seen Tropic Thunder, TDK, Iron Man, Slumdog, WALL-E, and Ben Button off that list, and the Wrestler from the close ones...how is the Wrestler not in there? Who knows. That list sucks.

Shocked that the Dark Knight was that low... surprisingly good plot and story line progression for a super hero film... Also a little shocked Iron Man was higher.... but I did enjoy both of those movies

Wall-E was a horrible movie and I cannot believe it is on this list.. my kids even detested it

Did not really see, or want to see any of the others

Dave, you might like Ghost Town. Ricky Gervais and Greg Kinnear is in it and it's a pretty funny movie. It won't amaze you or anything, but it's definitely a great rental that I certainly enjoyed.

Watched the Wrestler last night, it's my #3 of the year so far.

Mish I was actually gonna ask how Ghost Town was, I may check that one out.

And Dave...WALL-E was a horrible movie? Really? You're the first person I've heard say that...I thought it was brilliant
