College Fall Final Exams '08 Edition

All nighters? Eating food out of the vending machine from the library? Have a strange musky odor that you can't quite get rid of? It's probable you've been taking exams, either that or you've taken up residence in a library to avoid the cold winter streets as any hobo with wits about himself would do.

I am officially done and therefore done with exams as an undergrad. I lucked out with two classes not having a final (one was an English course where a portfolio was due, the other was a marketing elective where we had a test the prior week.) My other three though were not quite as painful as I expected but I did study a ton for them. It's really strange, its been at least four or so semesters since I had an exam where I felt any sense of panic while taking it; I kind feel like I've been missing out on that experience where you feel helpless while taking it, send a prayer up to the big guy upstairs and somehow miraculously pull through with success.

Not gonna say easy, but really not abd at all...close to easy works.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

I thought I did pretty well. My first 2 of 4 courses went well. The third one....didn't. And I'm still waiting on one more.

My management capstone's exam was my toughest. As I did this competition thing with P&G (for anyone who saw my thread earlier this month), I got behind on my readings as we had a good chunk of time off from that class so I had to catch back up with all of that and then start studying.

BTW, if anyone here who is a business major has a school where you use CapSim for a 400 level course, I could give you some pointers when you need them (that was the large bulk of our grade in the mgt class.)

That's one thing I liked about being a history student, I didn't have to do a lot of exams. And when I did have to do one, I knew ahead of time what the thing was gonna be like.

And congrats on being done your exams in the undergrad mission. Does it not feel awsome to be done? I know I partied....for the next 2 years and continue to do so.

Thanks man. Its a bit surreal, just hasn't kicked in yet. It's definitely nice to know that I've made it to that milestone in life of being able to say I am a college grad.

Heh Im on co-op (kinda like a well paying internship I guess where I work in the field) for the fall and winter terms so I dont have the deal with finals until spring. I heard that the rest of the basic engineering classes were kinda of hard from my pals who dont have co-op right now. Though the real hard stuff doesnt start until after my next co-op the following year. Its nice watching everyone panic while I relax after work everyday, though the shoe will be on the other foot in a few months.

    Exams were interesting so far...

My laziest class was a lazy exam, and I got a B-
My most work class was the shortest final even though it had the most material
My least material class had a long impossible final
My easiest class has it's final final in an hour and 20 minutes

My exams were, well, rather easy, but not completely easy. I did not pull any all nighters, and the most I studied at one time was about an hour.

    I had 4 courses:

-One had only 2 grades + participation, was unsure how I'd do, got an A-
-One was difficult at times, but I had a great TA, got a B+
-One was hard, but I managed to do well most of the semester....C
-The last one was fairly easy, but only because the guy was an easy grader. Grade not submitted yet.

Mine were all cake finals. Mostly. English and French were pathetically easy (for me at least). The last two finals were ok, got one A- and one B. The theatre "final" was the best. Two monologues (one classic and one contemporary), two songs (one brodway and one contemporary), and then a dance routine (with myself being an exception to the last one). So much fun.

Failed my analysis final, wound up getting a C- in the class, dropping my GPA below a 3.0.
