Jews can vote?
Next you'll tell me slaves can vote and own land.

as long as he doesnt take much more of my money in taxes and doesnt take away my civil liberties, I can live with him.
he's got a lot of questions to answer: starting with how he will be able to handle a democratic congressional legislation. Its usually best when there is some form of checks and balances. can he check them?
I'm sure he can't do any worse than Bush.
And do you believe they would have cheered (or remain silent) in Grant park if Obama lost? They are supporters who are disappointed, if you are shocked by that turn of events then you didn't see what happened when all the notable other candidates exited during the primaries (Clinton, Romney, etc.)
Remember, for diehard supporters one part is nominating a savior that will set the world right again and the other party is nominating someone worse than Lucifer himself. And most of the people who you will hear at events like that (hear being the key word) are the diehards.
It's Obama time, baby.

Oh, I'm very certain they would have booed in Grant Park had McCain won, and I would have been equally embarrassed.
Well, maybe not quite as much as I generally vote Republican, so it's a tad more embarrassing to me to see Republicans act that way.
I wasn't really embarrassed at the first booing, but it got real embarrassing when they kept it up after McCain asked them to quit.
I agree with Leo. I expected disappointment, but when McCain had to ask them to "please, please" stop like 4 times, you would think they would be quiet and listen to the man they supported during his gracious concession.
Don't get me wrong, I am not defending it but I wasn't surprised to see it so it didn't give me any emotional feelings towards it. I would have been shocked to not have seen it actually.
I gotcha. I wasn't shocked it happened....more shocked that it took so long to get them to stop.
stayed up til 5am to watch it! very classy by mcCain. I'm sure obama will do a great job.
Well, if not, then he'll go down in history as the worst president since George W. Bush.
