Movies Movies You've Seen This Year

Ranking the movies I've seen in theaters this year so far:

    1. The Dark Knight - **** - An absolute masterpiece.
    2. WALL-E - ***1/2 - Another gem from Pixar, spectacular animation and a great storyline.
    3. Forgetting Sarah Marshall - ***1/2 - The best Apatow production yet, utterly hilarious.
    4. Iron Man - ***1/2 - Arguably the best comic book adaptation not directed by Christopher Nolan.
    5. Pineapple Express - ***1/2 - James Franco is comedy gold in an absolutely wonderful performance. Probably my favorite performance of the year behind Ledger's Joker.
    6. Cloverfield - *** - Proof that movies don't need excessive gore and blood and foul language to be terrifying.
    7. The Incredible Hulk - *** - Miles above Hulk, Tim Roth is a delight.
    8. Step Brothers - *** - Over the top, immature, childish, vulgar, yet hilarious.
    9. The Bucket List - *** - Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman are wonderful together.
    10. Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian - **1/2 - Better than the first and has some good things, but still feels like Lord of the Rings-lite.
    11. Get Smart - **1/2 - Surprisingly entertaining, Steve Carrell is very funny.
    12. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - ** - Second half of the movie is really not good, suffers from a terrible storyline and over-reliance on CGI.
    13. Semi-Pro - *1/2 - The trailers are funny, the Bud Light and Old Spice commercials are funny, the "Love Me Sexy" song is funny, everything is funny but the movie.
    14. 21 - *1/2 - Just mediocre in every way.
    15. Strange Wilderness - * - Your classic Happy Madison stupid funny movie.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

No she's not, my friend told me she didn't get nekkid in the movie. Which kinda defeats me wanting to see it. That and my other friend ruined the ending.

I saw Semi-Pro finally...it wasn't great, but I'd put it higher than 11....it was decent, somewhere in the middle of the pack.

I hate to be a nit-picky douche but Nolan never directed a movie about a comic book. He worked off a graphic novel which was 100x different than the comics of the time. I really wish they could have Brought Arkham Asylum to the big screen. For those of you that never read any of the graphic novels Arkham Asylum would be so dark and creepy it would blow your mind!
