yes, a thread was posted on this movie on themlbforum and it allowed me to go on my tirade. I have absolutely no idea how anyone found that drollish piece of crap they tried to pass off as a comedy funny at all. I had no intentions on watching it after seeing the previews, but finally broke down after so many people told me how funny they found it. I figured it wouldn't have been the first time I saw a movie I thought was going to suck, only to find out otherwise. So I rented it at blockbuster, forced myself to sit through the whole thing, and I didn't laugh once. I sat there with a blank stare on my face for about an hour and a half wondering how any sane person could find that funny even in the slightest.

that movie takes over as the worst comedy in the history of mankind in my book..a title previously held by A Night At The Roxburry, which at least had a few funny scenes.

Hollywood, glad to find out that I'm not the only one. I'm surrounded by damn people who think Napoleon Dynamite is this freaking hilarious movie. I just don't see the comedy at all in that movie or his damn lil skits in the MTV Movie awards, etc. It's pretty stupid.

to answer your apparant confusion to BuckFoston's retort, he's simply quoting what's apparantly one of the funniest lines in the movie. (another one I just blankly stared at)
At one point Napolean is *****ing at his equally annoying brother about something, who's chatting online with some girl he eventually meets, and his brother retorts

"don't be jealous that i've been chatting online with babes all day"

and this is apparantly hillarious in some way that i'm not grasping.

I guess the movie knocked me out during that part, I have no recollection of it. As for the movie, it sucked. The preview showed how dumb the movie is going to be. The quoting lines are not even funny.

I found it hilarious, but I can see why people don't like it.
    I aim to try
