Three teens were charged with desecrating a corpse after they allegedly used the skull of an 11-year-old boy buried in Kingwood, Texas, to make a bong.

Kevin Wade Jones, 17, Matthew Richard Gonzalez, 17, and a 16-year-old boy were all arrested on one count of desecrating a corpse. The suspects are accused of digging up the skull buried in a cemetery for African American war veterans and using it to smoke marijuana (video: MyFoxHouston).

"They cut the jaw off of it and wrapped it in electrical tape and used it to make a bong," Houston Police Department Officer Jim Adkins said.

Carolyn Gonzalez, Matthew Gonzalez's mother, said her son was there when it happened although he had no part in digging up the corpse.

"Nobody deserves that -- not even a corpse," she said.

Houston Police Department officials are not releasing the name of the deceased corpse because they are still trying to contact family members.

But FOX 26 reports that the boy died Sept. 11, 1921.

His skull has not been recovered, Adkins said.

"We'd like the head back and place it back in the grave so that we can let this person rest," he said.

OK, I love pot and all but this is ****ed up to the third degree. How ****ing stoned can you be to think this was a good idea? I have been pissed before not having papers or anything to smoke out of but never thought of having to dig a body up just to get high. I can wait! Pot is not that addictive to turn to this. Potheads can do some dumb shit but this takes the cake. Its amazing what potheads will do. I am not your typical stoner as I have run two businesses and was a damn good ballplayer all while getting high. Maybe I'm on the internet too much but its better that DIGGING UP A ****ING BODY!! I do wonder though if they dug up this body because he died on 9/11? Maybe just back in the stoners minds they thought that was funny.

I know I'm gonna get bashed for saying this...but here goes anyway.

The reason potheads have a bad name is because pot is illegal. Or am I alone in this idea?

You have a point but I think they get more of a bad name being useless airhead slackers. Soon pot will be legal. It costs taxpayers $54 a day to jail one prisoner. Our government has not contributed a death due to marijuana in a dozen years and then it was just one. People will not want to keep paying to jail these criminals. Plus once to make something legal, people are less likely to do it. Loses its charm. I drank a lot more before 21 than after.

It may, but I honestly don't think people will want it to be legalized just for the fact that they are afraid that it will become out of control and be worse than it is now. And you do have a point, too, about it being legalized people would be less driven to want to do it. Look at drinking...it's like the greatest thing in the world when you're underage, then when you turn 21, it's not as fun because the thrill of being caught isn't there anymore.

I drink pretty much every weekend now

LTR, this is not about pot at all.

As a fellow pot head, these kids are more representative of the youth of today and how some of them just don't have the morals, values and common decency that most of us here have been taught.

The pot is just the symptom. The digging up of the corpse and the subsequent act were the real issue here. A real sense of right and wrong is desperately missing in these kids.
