21st Century TV shows = No Originality

So simply put, the 21st Century is garbage. No originality whatsoever from the 21st century.

The O.C.? Rip off of Beverly Hills 90210.

Eliminate Law and Order SVU, and Criminal Intent.

What's next? CSI Hawaii? CSI Minneapolis? Quit making up CSI's CBS.

Smallville? Just a big fat rip off of Lois & Clark.

Grey's anatomy? It's no different than ER or Doogie Howser M.D.

The only awesome show from this century is HEROES & maybe GOSSIP GIRL! I also like Friday night Lights!

There are some new shows called Lipstick Jungle from NBC, and Cashmere Mafia from ABC. Guess what? They are Sex and the City wannabe's! And just wannabes! and nothing else!

As for 2000's MTV? My Super Sweet 16, Runs house? The hills? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? MTV is just total trash so far in this century. YUCK!

Smallville is original because it puts Superman on the back burner and focuses solely on Clark Kent before he even dawned the tights and cape. It also deviates from the comic standard mythos.

I agree for the most part, but How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory are both excellent comedies.

Chuck and Scrubs... Lost.. House was a nice angle on doctor dramas... 24 kinda opened the door for action thriller type series, Torchwood, Deadwood, ..er nevermind Deadwood is gone. Rescue Me? How about Nip/Tuck or The Shield.

CSI isn't the first to create a bunch of spin-offs

ER, Chicago Hope, Third watch, Rescue Me, House, Grey's, there will always be move for shows like this.

Friday Night Lights is just another teen drama, nothing new at all. "Oh noes I slept will my cripple boyfriend's best friend and I must keep doing because I can't take it"

Originality hasn't been a strong suit for the century. Movies are nothing but remakes and sequels and sitcoms are just recycled jokes. Reality shows have 0% reality to them.
