    McCain's in trouble

I don't want to start a political discussion but tonight I saw that John McCain, the soon-to-be GOP candidate is in trouble. Why you ask. Because it looks like Barack Obama will be the Democratic candidate. I was watching MSNBC and watch Obama's speech. After Obama was done, they went to John McCain's speech. After watching both speeches, McCain doesn't stand a chance against Obama. Obama was surrounded by youthful hopefuls from every ethnic race and a few of his equals. McCain was surrounded by old people and looked like he was reading his speech off a prompter. Obama was light on his feet and could tell some of that speech was improvised. McCain could have possibly had a stroke if that prompter would have froze. I know Obama hasn't won anything yet but if he does win the nomination, McCain will have a hard time winning over the country.

Sorry to tell you, but young people don't vote. Ever.

But old folks? Man, that's all they do.

My bad. It was 2000 when the 18-44 had the majority of the votes. But that is the key demographic and don't see McCain appealing to that crowd too much. But more independents and simply more people voted in the last election.

18-44? Which side do you think that leans on, the 18 or the 44?

Anyway, it's a long way to the election, and Obama can't ride his crest of non-issues until then. He'll have to take positions, and inevitably some of the bloom with be off the rose.

18-44 is the main demographic in a presidential campaign. There are more young than old. Obama appeals to all them since he is youthful which appeals to the youth and he's 45. That's why I said he was surrounded by youth and equals. Compare that to McCain who is 71 and surrounded himself with other 70 year olds. Not hard to figure it out. Obama has taken positions but sadly no one in the media want to report that. He touched on a lot of issues tonight but people will just fly through that with the typical He's a great speaker bullshit. How far can McCain's war record get him? I know it's been this long but can it really last forever? I like McCain and glad he doesn't stand by his party all the time. Shows he a free thinker. I just think he's in trouble against Obama who is great off the cuff and McCain isn't. It's like Kennedy vs. Nixon all over again.

Nah, Kennedy won on the lie of the missile gap. This race will be a close one, just watch.

Don't forget Kennedy used the mafia. Kennedy/Nixon was one of the closest elections ever. Boy have times changed. I should have said Clinton/Dole. And I will watch Saber.

I don't think any GOP candidate would stand a chance this year against any Democratic candidate because they share the same letter after their name as G. W. Bush.

You honestly think in a general election that HilDawg would be the clearcut winner?

Yes I do, for two reasons.

1 - She doesn't have (R) after her name like her opponent would

2 - People would think that they are basically reelecting her husband.

    The voting public is stupid.*

    * - That isn't a statement that you have to be stupid to vote for Hilary, simply you'd be stupid to vote for her for those reasons....but people would.

I just hope to God that no one votes for that pantsuit mannequin if she beats out Obama. Plus I hear that Hildawg has a snuke in her... you know.

The Democratic race is going to be interesting. Next week should be Obama's, but if Clinton's firewall of Texas comes through for her, she might be able to take that momentum into Ohio where she is currently polling well at. It could go either way.

evidently you arent aware of the ABC syndrome? Hillary is absolutely DESPISED by a large number of americans. then there are those who dont despise her but think her ideas are frankly quite impossible to implement (as I do).

For every American that despises Hilary there's 10 more that despise G. W. Bush and don't want to see another Republican at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
