Prostate cancer is something that runs in my family. My dad was treated for it 15 years ago and is still doing pretty well. My brother was treated for it last year and is fine.
To say that it is not scary is wrong, but if it is caught early enough, it is usually very treatable.

Consider it done. Be a support system for your friend and is Dad. They will both need. Trust me, I did, when my wife was going through breast cancer kemo, radiation, and surgeries. Pray and GOD will hear and support!
Thanks once again. I talked to my friend on the phone yesterday, he said his dad is doing good, I fly out to Vegas on Thursday, his father is going to SD tommorow, his surgery is on the 29th I believe, so I will see him before new years.

Update- I'm not going to Vegas, because of few things, my plan was to go there for six days and stay at my friend's house, my friend is going to SD to support his dad's surgery which I respect, and even if I went there, I wont be seeing him until Monday, so four of those six days I will be bored and alone, so I decided to just cancel the trip and have one less of a problem to deal with especially the situation about his father.
Understood man. Screw it, I'll go to Vegas with you man. I guarantee you won't be bored when the money is coming in when you are around me. Ha!
You definitely have to respect his decision. Hopefully things get better and you guys can plan your trip later.
My friend's father's surgery got postponed to Febuary 1st, because he cought a cold, and with that cold, there would have been some problems with the surgery.
Surgery went successful, thank you everyone for your prayers.
