when you went to the doctor, did they do a throat culture? i had it when i was like 14, and they stuck this long q-tip looking thing into the back of your throat. the nurse and i thought it would be a good idea to make the stick flavored, so it wouldn't suck so bad. turns out, no matter what you do, strep sucks.

Yeah, strep is awful. I had it earlier this year and I think I might be getting it again...Oh yeah, get better!

ive been lucky i never got strep. My sister got it 3 times during the mid to late 80's. im just glad i never got it.

Try gargle some salt and water and that may do the trick.
I've had sore throats before then I get a cold after that. Never had strep throat.
I would not agree with this, sore knees are worse as is a sore back, but strep is nothing to be taken lightly. It, by itself, is not terribly serious, just uncomfortable for a couple of days or so, but it can spread to other areas and become a difficult situation.
Hope you have it under control and don't worry. It'll be above 60 again one of these days.
