Two iPod Questions

I recently reformatted my computer, so i have no songs on my library for my iTunes but i still have all the music on my iPod. How do i transfer the songs from my iPod to my iTunes music library? And My battery really sucks It lasts for maybe 2 hours listening at 75% volume. I've only had it for about two months now so It shouldn't be dying already. Do i need to buy a new one already.

1) Through the I-Tunes software you're out of luck, however WinAmp has a plugin that allows you to handle tunes through them, and supposedly allows you to transfer songs. I haven't used this app yet so I can't tell you how it works.

2) Your battery shouldn't be dying already, may need to check with Apple on that. Important that at least once a month you let the battery go down to empty before re-charging, if you do this you should get at least 18-24 months use out of it.

iPod Agent will allow you to transfer from your iPod to your PC. I've used it a few times in the past and I can recommend it. It's a great piece of software (it also has other uses.)

As for battery issue, how long do you usually charge your IPod? I think that IPod's battery is completely full when you charge it for at least 4 hours. Then it should last for about 8 hours. Even when your IPod is turned off, the battery still runs.
