Impressions on the new TV season

I still have a whole bunch on my HD that I need to get to (Reaper, Life, Chuck), first. Any others that I need to check out?

True. I was mostly talking about the series in it's first season, though. Pushing Daisies was excellent last night.

I've only watched two shows (not much into sitcom TV as I used to be)

How I Met Your Mother was hilarious as expected

    And I watched the Cavemen.

It was ok, but not that funny.

I'll give it another try when ep 2 comes out, though, as pilots are usually iffy.

The Caveman is the worst idea of a TV show ever.

Re: Impressions on the new TV season

I am a TV nerd as some of you know but I've been busy which means I have quite the amount of shows to watch.

However, the most anticipated new show (not returning show) for me was Pushing Daisies which I did just watch and it was utterly fantastic. Tremendous camera work, visuals (very surreal, great color usage), characters (and therefore casting), the music, and even the narrator... it all worked so well. And of course combining all of those elements with a very charming yet different idea for a series idea makes it a show unlike many others. ABC consistently puts out the worst TV lineups, but occasionally it seems to turn out one of the best (like LOST) and this seems to be the case. I only hope the show can continue at that level of production while keeping the storylines just as fresh as it could become a tired concept if they just rehash it in slightly different ways every week.

One of the best pilots I've seen in awhile easily.

I don't watch much TV these days.

Sadly, not even the ongoing playoffs.

My TV broke, so anything I watch I watch via the internet.

Re: Impressions on the new TV season

Oh dang, well that explains it because there is commercials all the time for it. It doesn't look like I can find any commercials for it on the internet but you should really see these commercials because it is making this show look awesome.

My only gripe was I thought the narrator was kinda annoying after a while.
