Drew Carey announced that he will become the new host of the Emmy Award-winning CBS game show The Price is Right during tonight’s taping of the Late Show with David Letterman. Carey’s Late Show interview will be broadcast tonight, Monday, July 23 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Let's face it, no one's Bob Barker. But not a single person has suggested someone that everyone went and said "oh, he'd be great and he's available".

You are right that no one is Bob Barker Fisher...I'm just very thankful it's not Rosie because I would never watch it again if she was the host. I really wonder if it'll do as well...or if they should have ended the show when he retired.

What about Sandler haha...that would have been funny given the connection, but obviously he's no host...
