Thanks Guys. I am slowly getting back to health and I still have to have a nurse with me during the day while my parents are at work due to I am still very weak, especially my legs. I am going in to get checked again to see if there have been any more clots that have popped up. I hope not. That would be another major setback if there was.

I hope things turn out for the best...S3F has had a rough summer...

convalescing will get boring, but it's important to rest up.

    Re: Turn2's absence

Hi guys, Just a little update for everyone on my health. Things were really looking up for me for awhile until just recently when I started to experience severe headaches in the back of my head. I went in to get it checked out and I have more problems with clots this time in a more severe area in the upper region of my neck and at the base of my brain. The docs do not want to rush and and try to operate because it is very risky and could cause a lot of problems so they are trying to go the route of medication at this time for about two weeks. if that does not work it is back to the old hospital for me and under the knife. I myself am trying to keep my spirits up as much as possible, but it is hard sometimes. If it is not too much to ask please pray for my mom as she is struggling with this a lot.

    Thank You, Keira

    Re: Turn2's absence

Hey everyone. Obviously it's been a while since both T2 and I have been here. Both she and I have been going through some reaaaaaly hard times, but rite now this isn't about me. T2 underwent surgery to remove a clot at her brain stem and lost quite a bit of speech and motor function. She is currently in a daily uphill battle just to stay alive. Please keep her in your prayers. It really means a lot to her family. And me.

No...haven't heard from her in a few weeks. Not quite sure what's going on. I'll keep ya posted though.

    Re: Turn2's absence

Just got a message from Turn2. She's been having transfusions for quite a while, and her body just wasn't responding well and she got even sicker. So they injected her with meds and such and now she's doing better. She has also been losing a lot of weigh because she hasn't been able to eat solids. She's most definately not 100% better, but she is on the road to recovery. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. It really makes her feel good that she's got a "second family" here on S3F. Thanks.
