    Hello (so original I know)

Hi everyone-I'm new here. My name is Brett (yes, I'm a girl) and I'm 16 yrs old and will be a freshman at SF State starting in October. I will be attempting to get a degree in photo-journalism. The past four years, I was the only girl in the entire school district who played hardball in HS. This place was reccomended to me by another newbie (Turn2). In case y'all couldn't already figure it out, I'm a HUGE Oakland A's fan. Nick Swisher is my fave currently on the team, and Eric Byrnes is the best all-time Athletic, but the greatest man in baseball was Bill King. Hope to talk baseball with y'all soon!

I know...Phillie was just a bit before my time, but I don't know much about their dynasty there. Or in KC for that matter.

16-year-old in college? Holy crap, that had to be at least two grades skipped somewhere. Impressive. Plus, four-years of baseball? Damn.

Welcome Aboard, even if you claim that feather hair was the best A ever...if he touched home plate...

Yes, I did skip two grades. I have moved around from foster family to foster family, and technically I skipped grades 1 and 4, but that wasn't exactly how it happened. And yes I played all four years at HS.

As for "feather hair", I prefer to call him Captain America. Thanks for the welcome.
