    Flight of The Conchords

So what is everyone's thoughts after the first episode? HBO really needed a sitcom with the lack of Curb Your Enthusiasm and Extras on the schedule and this one will be a hit or miss, although they should of noted that from their live performances. I've enjoyed these guys for quite some time now and while I still think their live shows work a bit better, this has a lot of potential if you enjoy more dry comedy with awkward conservation that can happen (ala CYE) and the randomness (and humor) that their song clips brings to the equation. The first clip is them attempting to film a music video in the episode and the second clip pertains to the story but is another song.

Anyway, HBO at 10:30 PM on Sundays is where you can catch the episodes. It definitely isn't for everyone, but I am hoping it can survive for at least one season since it's right up my alley.

Yeah, I liked the pilot a lot. Sort of reminds you of Tenacious D.

Did you catch John From Cincinnati?

I have been listening to these for a few years now as I am a huge fan of comedy. I didn't like the first show but know what these guys can do and I'm sure they will be around for a while.

I didn't catch John From Cincinnati, I know it comes from the people who made Deadwood, but I really didn't know what to make of the previews for it. How is it? It did interest me.

And reefer I agree that I think they can do better than the pilot, so it should be interesting if HBO lets them stay on for a few seasons and let them hone their craft to the sitcom vehicle a bit more.

I liked it a lot, but it wasn't very well received by the media so I'm not sure how long it will stay on. I'm pretty certain the first two episodes are on demand for you to check out.

Deadwood was loathed by a few critics and it stayed on for quite some time, so maybe the fanbase will win out. Anyway, I will make sure to try to check it out this weekend.
