Want to see previews for the new fall shows?

Then here is the link for you, which has all the standard non-pay networks.

    TV Week
Admittedly, some clips are lacking but it's early and this is a good source. I only viewed a few, the few shows that got my interest previously, and they all looked to have potential (Reaper, Cane, Pushing Daisies.) I still want to check out Journeyman and a few others.

    Monday:

Sam I Am : I am not interested. Nothing stood out in the clip.

The Big Bang: While geeks can be funny, not a whole lot stood out there. Still not bad, but not something I'd be tuning in for on a Monday night.

Aliens in America: OK, I could definitely see myself watching that. The CW needs to watch out not to degenerate completely into race jokes, and the family is a little "War at Home"ish for me (swap mother and father personality), but the clips were funny, the mother reminds me a little of Lucille Bluth personality wise, and I like it so far. Nothing groundbreaking but certainly something I would consider TiVoing in the fall to see how it goes before its premature cancellation.

K-Ville: I made it two minutes through the clip. No appeal to me, not a cop show guy

Journeyman: Wasn't interested until the last few seconds. The premise could be interesting, something I would consider on a week-to-week basis

    My Monday interest rankings

    1. Aliens in America
    2. Journeyman

The other three are pretty forgettable, guess they'd rank Geeks-K-Sam, but I'm not watching them. Is there any way to read the full descriptions, the side bar cuts them off for me.

the futon critic - the web's best primetime television resource

The star of Journeyman was the star of Rome and was fantastic, so it will at least have a strong leading man. Plus the concept (that you can read) is pretty great.

Only things of interest is the show Kevin Smith is directing the pilot for and um... I don't see many new shows lasting long at all- much like this past season. There were a couple of huge explosions like Heroes, but almost every show with potential bit the dust early. Sci Fi channel is having much more success than the regulars, which is funny.

I'll just go by network since I found the descriptions for them

    ABC:

    Sam I Am: See Above

Cavemen: I get the sense the whole series will be like the clip, and I'm not watching.

Carpoolers: I actually like the premise, it's an unforced merging of different people, which a lot of shows have trouble with. The conversation in the car seemed pretty natural too. Probably won't see it since I can't watch comedies I like already, but...

Pushing Daisies: I like the clip, it's a good timeslot, the premise is solid...not bad.

    Private Practice: Don't get it.

Dirty Sexy Money: Got the message across, but I'm kind of lukewarm. It could work like MNIE, it may not.

Big Shots: I don't see myself watching it.

Women's Murder Club: I can certainly believe the idea of four, attractive, professional women solving murder mysteries. No. Don't care.

Cashmere Mafia: Not bad, not good.

Eli Stone: The first clip that I smiled through most of it. I don't know if it will be a mid-season replacement, but the George Michael (the singer-songwriter) thing really hit my funny bone

Miss/Guided: Haha! I'm a sucker for anything scholastic on TV, and I liked this one. There's another show I'd watch.

ABC's Lineup (Shows I May Watch):
    Pushing Daisies (Possible/Probable)
    Eli Stone (Depends on Time)
    Miss/Guided (Depends on Time)
Carpoolers (Probably Not, but if I'm bored)

I would watch Pushing Daisies, I heard quite a few liked the pilot and it seems to have potential.

Oh and in Miss/Guided, it looks like someone has found the Kitty.

    CBS:

    The Big Bang Theory: Nope

Cane: I keep telling myself that I'll like these shows, but they never hold my interest

Kid Nation: I like the concept, I don't like kids on reality shows (barely ever works). The fact that it's only 40 days doesn't make it an accurate representation, but it reminds me a bit of Survivor. I may watch it. No one being voted off is a good idea. Obviously won't be an accurate representation but life, but could be good.

Moonlight: I don't know how they could maintain a story. Anyone reminded of that Treehouse of Horror episode?

Viva Laughlin: Could be worse, but it doesn't really appeal to me

    What I'll Watch
    Kid Nation (Possibly)

I knew she looked familiar! Judy Greer! I wonder if anyone will dip into the Kitty on that show?

Yeah, I don't think the Cavemen show is going to last.

    The CW

Aliens in America: See Above, a Yes for me.

Reaper: Interesting idea and the clips were funny, I'm not sure though

    Gossip Girl: Zzzzzzzzzzzz

Life is Wild: Steve Irwin meets 7th Heaven? Obviously more confrontational, but not feelin it.

    What I'll Watch
    AiA
    Reaper

    I'll do the rest tommorow.

That's because these shows being on national TV = no bloody violence nor f-bombs.

The CW is going to die with 7th Heaven, Gilmore Girls, and Veronica Mars going out the door. There goes their female/Christian audiences

Oh, the CW needs some serious help. No matter how girly VM or GG were (and I did watch both, albeit not new, I saw GG repeats on ABC Family and VM on cheapo DVDs) or how nauseating 7th Heaven is, those are three relatively heavy hitters (ratings for 7H, critical for VM, and a mix for GG) for The CW. I can only name two (non wrestling) shows left: Everybody Hates Chris and America's Next Top Model.

    Maybe VM:FBI will happen.
