    Minor leagues

Is there way for someone who never played college baseball because of some unfortunate circumstances to try out for a minor league team? If so do teams have opening minor league try outs?

Minor league teams are filled with guys who had played just high school baseball. As for whether there are tryouts, I don't know.

You have to look at the team sites. I know the M's had one at Cheney Stadium during the summer.

The Braves had an open tryout at The Diamond in Richmond, VA. They usually have them posted on the team sites like Porter stated.

Most teams have age cut-offs for their tryout camps. A friend of mine's son tried out until he got too old. He was told he could come to camp at his own expense and give it a shot if he wanted. He chose not to.
This said, I wish you luck. I wish I'd have been healthy enough when I was 21 (I'd torn my ACL and couldn't run anymore) to try out. It would have been interesting to see what ability I really had.
