Last time I was in Alpine Valley was maybe 1990 or 1991.

I also had tickets to a concert there on Aug 26th, 1990. I didn't go and have regretted it ever since. The show? Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Robert Cray. It was a Sunday evening concert and I didn't go because I was being bucky with a chick I had been "dating" who owed me money and got me the tickets.

After that concert, SRV died in a helicopter crash.

BTW: the last concert I went to was Pat Benatar. I think it was a year ago in May.

Edit: I take that back. I saw Josh Blue in concert this winter and I also saw Sinbad in concert this past winter. Benatar was my last musical concert though.

My buddy was at that concert the night SRV died and I knew about his death before he did. He had NOT heard the news yet, and when I called him, he was shocked. I was too, SRV was in his prime.

Just added the last six to the list because I just got back from the concert with those bands.

Also updated a tag on Lynyrd Skynyrd as I'm too young to have seen the original Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Now that I've seen Disturbed live Red Hot Chili Peppers is all that remains on my top 5 favorite bands that I have yet to seen live.

Trust me, they put on an AMAZING show.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

The Chili's are AMAZING live. From the first song (Can't Stop...I think...) to the finale, it was great.
