Oh yeah, I forgot another band that I saw, Van freakin' Halen! It was the 1984 tour, David Lee Roth singer, wish I could have seen them with Sammy. I like both singers, just like them better with Sammy.

Every time I hit enter, I think of other bands that I have seen.

Emerson, Lake, and Palmer and Deep Purple and Dream Theater-(that was all one show)

    INxs (twice)

    Corey Stevens
    Robert Cray

Cheap Trick (not real proud of that one)

    Kenny Wayne Shephard

I am sure that I will think of a few more.

    Concerts I've Been To

    1. April 05 - Velvet Revolver at Jones Beach (Hoobastank opened and sucked) - great stuff. Weiland and Slash were in perfect form. Weiland channeled his inner STP with the bullhorn at the beginning of the show and later on went on a 10 minute long rant about how rock was dying...up in the stands no less.

    2. June 05 - Weezer with Taking Back Sunday at Nassau Coliseum - Awesome from both bands. TBS's only show of that summer, both them and Weezer were in perfect form.

    3. June 06 - Taking Back Sunday with Angels and Airwaves, Head Automatica, and the Subways at Nassau Coliseum - Pure insanity. Subways sucked, the guy broke his pick and a guitar string at the same time. HA was good but too loud guitars. AVA was great although DeLonge is a nut.

And then TBS came on to "What's It Feel Like To Be A Ghost" and just tore the roof off. Insane show. Some highlights:
    - Before they came on everybody rushed the floor. Never been so pressed for space in my life.
    - People moshing to an AVA song with a toy piano...what a joke.
    - A guy in a Spiderman suit jumping on stage during TBS's Bike Scene - Fred Mascherino yelled out "Spiderman!" and Eddie Reyes gave him a high 5 before security took care of him.

    4. August 06 - OAR with Jack's Mannequin at Jones Beach - didn't know much OAR but they were great. JM was a terrific opening act too. Worst part of this concert was me and my friend got lost for a little while and then some kids stole our seats...we got them back though.

    5. October 06 - Red Hot Chili Peppers with Mars Volta at Continental Airlines Arena - Mars Volta played one song for about 40 minutes. Boring.

On the other hand...RHCP were incredible. Chad Smith flipping drumsticks up into the air and crowd. Flea going nuts with his funky bass rhythms. Kiedis's voice was right on target. And best of all...John Frusciante was unconscious. His guitar solo on "Readymade" was pure brilliance. An unbelievable show from some unbelievable artists and showmen.

    6. Dec 06 - Brand New at MSG - cheap seats, they opened for Dashboard who sucked and we didn't stay for. Only played 8 songs but it was well worth the $22. Highlight was Jesse Lacey and Vinny Accardi running into each other during "You Won't Know."

    7. Jan 07 - OAR at MSG - incredible. Maybe the best concert I've been too so far. We got thers just as Gomez finished their opening act and had floor seats. OAR tore the roof off of MSG. We snuck up to even better seats and after getting caught the first time snuck back up for the last 6 or so songs. I don't like OAR as much as TBS or RHCP but this might have been the best show I've ever seen. Still recovering from how good it was. "That Was A Crazy Game of Poker" sent the crowd into a hysterical frenzy for its 15 or so minutes. Just mindbogglingly good.

    8. March 07 - The Who at Nassau Coliseum
So excited for this. Townshend and Daltrey, how can you go wrong? Should be a great time.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.
