The Barenaked Ladies sang the Big Bang Theory theme song.

Re: bands you've seen live?
I'vseen a lot of groups live. Very diverse bunch from Led Zeppelin to Chicago and The Beach Boys on July 4th at Metropolitan Stadium in 1975 to a bunch of Christian groups.
Here is a short list:
Led Zeppelin
Paul Revere and the Raiders
Chicago
Beach Boys (X3)
Moody Blues
Steppenwolf (several times)
Bob Dylan
Rolling Stones
Styx
Michael Murphy
and more recently
Leeland (great guys. We've seen them several times)
Michael W. Smith (went on a cruise to Alaska with him and Leeland)
Tenth Avenue North
Bebo Norman
Brandon Heath (X3)
Toby Mac
Casting Crowns (X2)
Third Day (X4)
Steven Curtis Chapman
Jeremy Camp
Aaron Schustt
Revive
DecembeRadio
Sanctus Real
Franchesca Battestelli
Jars of Clay
SuperChick
House of Heros
My taste in music has evolved over my lifetime. Had I been able to raise enough money, I'd have been at Woodstock. Unfortunately, I came up about $50 short.

Might add a x2 by .38 Special in September. They're coming to Magic Springs, just not sure if I'm going to go or not.
Re: bands you've seen live?
I just saw Local H last night. The 2nd band on the card was called No Joy, and they were pretty good too. The openers were this really shitty local band. Wasn't into them at all.
Over the past year+, going off of the tickets I have saved, I've seen:
Local H (a lot, probably around 10 times, including last night's show)
Tommy Stinson solo (former member of The Replacements, Bash & Pop, & Perfect / current GNR bassist)
Neil Young solo
Pixies (Doolittle tour)
Weezer (Memories tour/Blue & Pinkerton albums)
Bad Religion
Lawrence Arms
I feel like there should be more, but that may really be it. I've seen a lot of openers too but I can't remember most of them anymore.

Saw Hollywood Kills and Three Doors Down at Magic Springs tonight.
Hollywood Kills is a small band from Nashville. They're not even big enough to have their own Wikipedia page yet but I'm including them anyway because they were pretty damn good.
