    Song mixing program

I used to have one of those dealies...nothing extremely fancy, just want to fade from one song into another. Suggestions, freeware-wise?

For recording purposes, though I have Easy CD Creator for that.

Oh for a CD, I am not for sure as I haven't burned a CD in at least four years due to Apple. I'll take a look though later tonight if I can.

Burning a CD is done thru Easy CD Creator. I just need to crossfade two songs into one, and save it as an MP3.

Oh, if it's just a couple songs, Audacity would work perfectly.

    http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

That's what we use for any editing of podcasts. Just import or add in your two songs and select a portion of the end of the first song to fade out (I forget what it's listed under, but you'll see it) and then select the first portion of the second song to fade in (if you want.) Anywho, however you do it, it's not hard. You will have to download a LAME MP3 encoder though, which Audacity can link you to.

That's the one I used before, word. I just couldn't remember what it was called.
