Sometimes its to get "dupe" employees to get a cheaper price.

Someone once tried to order a sausage biscuit on a muffin instead. Thats basically a Sausage McMuffin with no cheese (which is 2.19 here). To attempt to save a 1.19 on their bill.

well, I worked at a McDonald's during high school and never asked that. or remember hearing anyone do that.

The one time I ordered and the person asked me that I believe I said "plain cheeseburger"...if I said "cheeseburger, plain" then maybe I could understand asking "no cheese?" And if I asked for a cheeseburger plain or whatever, a cheeseburger costs more than a hamburger so why would they care that I want to pay the cheeseburger price instead of the hamburger price? I'm paying more if I order a cheeseburger.

I don't go to fast food joints like that anymore anyway...haven't in a long time. once in a while I'll hit Subway and Papa Gino's sometimes. No fast food burger places though.

    The English language.

For ex, why is it that "speech" spelled with an ee but "speak" is spelled with an "ea"?

Nick at Nite airing the George Lopez show.

While the show is kind of funny it goes against the entire premise of Nick at Nite to include it in it's programming.

If they're going to have tv shows that aired as recently as 2 years ago they may as well just be another syndicated tv channel. (As opposed to showing "classic" tv shows from years ago.)

Re: The grinds my gears thread

It takes a second if you don't put any thought into what you want to vote for.

Although, I can see your frustration if someone takes the time to make a post stating their opinion and doesn't make the actual vote.

Re: The grinds my gears thread

I'm referring to most of the polls in the polls section. Tons of people read them but only a handful vote. Its there to engage discussion get everyone involved but always a disappointment. Just grinds my gears

Re: The grinds my gears thread

Maybe no one notices the polls section because it's a sub-forum, so it kind of flies under the radar. I don't get why the polls aren't just part of the regular MLB section.
