Re: The grinds my gears thread
Not sure what I love more, trying to talk wrestling on the internet only for the inevitable trolls to come and tell me it's "fake" or trying to talk baseball on the internet only for football-only fans to inevitably infiltrate the conversation to tell me why I should think it's boring.

And they're probably the same person. I say boo that person.
Re: The grinds my gears thread
It's annoying when you have NBA fans that easily dismiss college basketball or college basketball fans easily dismissing NBA. Y'all, it's basketball, soak it all in and enjoy.

I honestly only watch college basketball if my team sucks (they do) to keep an eye on a young prospect that they won't get because the lottery always fucks them.

Basically. It's either we get them to Orlando, and they leave a la Shaq/Dwight or we get fucked and we end up with Hezonja instead of Porzingis.

That is a top 5 depressing sports statement. I'm sorry. I'll cheer for Orlando in the lottery.

Want even more depressing. I root for the Jets too. If it weren't for the Yankees I might have killed myself already lol

I'd say switch to the knicks but that might be a lateral move.

Re: The grinds my gears thread
I’d rather stick with the same shitty team and enjoy the thrill ride if it ever actually happens than abandon them for some proven team and pretend their win actually means anything to me, or even worse the team I abandoned wins and I have to either not enjoy it or act like I never left.
Re: The grinds my gears thread
Well I didn't leave after both Shaq, and Dwight left. Plus T-Mac left too. Safe to say I'm stuck.

Re: The grinds my gears thread
My sarcastic suggestion was based on him liking New York teams, and then randomly Orlando and also because the Knicks have been pretty embarrassing since the random finals appearance as an 8 seed (sorry Hammer). One doesn't truly dump a team unless that team ceases to exist, like the Sonics...or Browns/Houston football team before returning. Otherwise, you are just a bandwagoner or 75% of Cowboy fans in the 90's.
Or like me, I don't have an NBA team, I love it all. Group hug.
Re: The grinds my gears thread
I think if the Jaguars existed when I was starting to like football I'd probably be a Jaguars fan. Unfortunately they didn't and I'm stuck in medocrity with the Jets.
