I truly think they do, but it's not the reason we suck. I think generally refs have such a little impact on the game, unless it's a crucial moment.

it's more than that. It's terrible fiscal management, terrible FA scouting, at least before Reggie. The whole franchise was beyond fucked up.

At least now we have the fiscal side in order. As for the other stuff...

Oakland's problem had been the same as its been for 20 years. Al Davis, he was the original Jerry Jones. With him gone you saw the franchise rip the band aid off and do what we've need to do since Gannon and Co got real old, real fast... complete rebuild. They far exceeded my expectations this year by simply beating SD in the early part of the year.

To play Devil's Advocate some of the GM's may not exactly be bigoted so much as they know their players are and, as dumb as it is if your players are bigoted enough to not play with a gay person then your team isn't going to be very cohesive.

Agreed. Which is why I qualified them as falling on the spectrum between controversial and bigoted. Overall, people both in and out of sports who make judgmental comments anonymously are the worst.
