I have to sit here with my hands tied while scalpers swipe up all the tickets so they can re-sale them at 5 times the price just because I don't listen to regurgitated music on the radio all day just to hear a code that I didn't even know existed.

Rental DVDs don't let you skip past the previews anymore.

It almost makes me want to boycott whatever's being previewed.

I intentionally mute my computer and turn the channel while previews are playing out of pure spite.

(I use my computer to watch DVDs, hooked up to the TV)

OK, bear with me on this one and try your best to understand....

When I'm working at the fish and chip shop, and somebody comes in asking for "fish and chips thrice please" (meaning they want 3 portions of fish and chips, but nobody ever uses the term "thrice" (meaning 3 times) anymore so naturally I presume he's saying "twice" as opposed to "thrice"). This is how it usually pans out.

Customer: Can I have fish and chips thrice please
(I then presume they have said twice as nobody in the north says thrice, it's more of a posh term, so I go and get 2 portions of fish and chips rather then 3)

Customer: What are you doing, I asked for fish and chips THRICE

Me: Oh sorry mate

(I then go and get him another portion and now he's satisfied)


Next customer walks in
2nd Customer: Fish and chips twice please

Me: Did you say twice or thrice
( 2nd Customer then looks at me like I'm a fucking idiot and says)

2nd Customer: I said twice of course...who the hell says thrice

Me: I KNOW RIGHT!

I hope that at least one person understood that, this situation has happend a few times now and is pissing me off! STOP SAYING THRICE, JUST SAY 3 TIMES!
